Questions about Docs
Not yet. Real-time collaborative writing, version history and sharing work today, and documents are protected in transit and by access controls. End-to-end encryption is built into the platform and being wired into Docs, but it is not finished for Docs yet, so we will not claim it before it is true.
Yes, in the everyday sense: people can edit together, see live cursors, use comments during a session and restore earlier versions. It is MailZyro Docs, not Google Docs, and it is built without ads in the editor.
Yes. Export to PDF through print, to Markdown, and to an HTML-based file that opens in Word and LibreOffice. A true binary .docx exporter is improving, so we are careful not to call the current export native .docx.
Yes. Multiple people work in one document with presence indicators and live cursors, and the collaboration engine uses conflict-free merging so simultaneous edits land cleanly.
Not yet. An AI writing assistant is planned but not part of Docs today. The current product focuses on collaborative editing, comments, versions and exports.
No. Docs is an online browser app today. Offline editing and a desktop app are planned, but not shipped.
