Why Slides

Built for private presentations.

Private by design

Each deck has its own key wrapped per user — even speaker notes stay unreadable to us.

Made for teamwork

Live cursors and threaded comments anchored to a slide or element.

Ready for real decks

Templates, PPTX and Google Slides import, and export. Core is here — in Beta.

How privacy works

Your deck stays unreadable to us.

Slides uses the same proven encryption stack as MailZyro Sheets, adapted for presentations.

01

Deck key

Every presentation gets its own AES-256 key.

02

User wrapping

That deck key is wrapped with each collaborator’s OpenPGP key.

03

Worker isolation

Crypto runs in an isolated Web Worker, away from the main app thread.

04

Auto-unlock

Single sign-on unlocks your access without exposing readable deck data to our servers.

For the technically curious: AES-256-GCM with OpenPGP per-user key wrapping, crypto isolated in a Web Worker.

Work together

Edit together without losing context.

Live cursors

See where teammates are working in the deck as changes happen. It keeps shared editing calm and easier to follow.

Threaded comments

Start a thread on a slide or a specific element. Reply, resolve and reopen comments as the deck moves forward.

Version history

Earlier versions are saved so the team can recover from mistakes. Restore a prior version when a direction does not work out.

FAQ

Questions about Slides

  • Yes. Slides imports PowerPoint .pptx files using a full Open-XML parser, and you can also import from Google Slides.

  • Yes. Teammates edit in real time, with live cursors showing where people are working, plus threaded comments on a slide or a specific element.

  • Yes. Presentation data is end-to-end encrypted at rest. Each deck has its own AES-256 key, wrapped with each user’s OpenPGP key, and servers store unreadable data.

  • Not today. Slides is browser-only and needs a connection. Desktop and offline presenting are planned.

  • Not yet. Audience Q&A is planned but not built today. Team comments are available now for review and discussion.

  • Yes. Public links can be password-protected, and share links can be viewer, commenter or editor. Link expiry is planned; today, links remain active until revoked.

  • Core editing, collaboration, encryption, import, export and presenting are solid enough to use today. It is still Beta, so some surrounding features are still coming — use it with that expectation.
